The Forge is a community studio based in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.
Our aim is to encourage and record artists and learn what we can about music production on the way. We don’t have any hit records under our belts, we don’t claim to have the finest boutique recording gear on the planet, but we do have comfortable sofa’s, good equipment, a little bar to take the edge off the recording process and a warm and open approach.
We can cater for singer / songwriters, 2/3 guitars at once, 2/3 vocalists and are working towards the microphones and equipment required for drum kits and full bands.
We also work with other bigger studios if you need to take a step up from what we can currently offer.
